We select, process and finish wood for interiors — and that is the whole business. Every sheet that leaves our facility has been judged first as a piece of timber: its grain, its colour, the character that makes one flitch different from the next.

From a handful of species to a full range.
Puno began in 2016 as a focused wood-products business, started by people who understood timber long before they understood retail. The early years were spent on a short list of veneer species, learning how each one cuts, presses and takes a finish.
That range widened year on year — coloured veneers, solid wooden panels, steps, flooring and finger joint boards — but the order of work never changed: read the wood first, then decide what it should become.
Today the same discipline runs through everything we make at our facility in Karnal, Haryana.

Selection
Every log and flitch is chosen for grain, colour consistency and character before anything is cut.
Processing
Slicing and pressing held to a consistent face thickness across the range — 0.27mm to 0.50mm on our veneers.
Finishing
Clean edges, flat panels, and a surface ready for oil, lacquer or stain with the grain still reading through.
