Solid wood boards built from shorter lengths jointed end to end — in teak, oak, ash and pine. Stable enough for a full-height shutter, solid enough to work like a plank.
A solid board made from the parts that usually get burnt.
A finger joint board is solid timber the whole way through. Shorter lengths are cut with interlocking finger profiles, bonded end to end and then edge-joined into a full sheet — which is why you can see the join pattern running across the face.
Two things follow from that. Wood that would otherwise be offcut gets used, so far less of the log is wasted. And because the grain directions are distributed across many short pieces rather than one long plank, the finished board is far less inclined to cup, bow or twist over a wide span.

African Teak
Warm mid-brown with plenty of movement in the grain. The busiest face of the six.
MP Teak
Indian teak in a steadier, more even tone — the safe choice for large runs of shutters.
Mystic Teak
Paler and cooler than the other teaks, with a softer contrast between the joined pieces.
White Oak
Pale, tight and calm. Takes a stain more predictably than anything else in the range.
White Ash
The lightest board we make, with a strong open grain that stays visible under clear finishes.
Pinewood AAA
Top-grade pine — light, even and knot-free enough to paint or leave bare.
